Verses to memorize

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given to me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

This is a good verse to memorize it can keep you out of trouble. There are things we see that we want to do at times, we see that it would be good to do, it is something we believe would bring glory and honor to the Lord. Therefore, we go for it, but fail. We try again and fail, repeatedly we try but we fail. Then comes depression, sadness, and doubts. We begin to think if it is so right why can’t I do it. That is when the devil kicks in and began to talk to our mind to cause all kinds of doubts. You may have experience those kinds of events so I want say anymore concerning that.

However, the verse to memorize can cure the problem from the start. Do not try do any thing Gods has not given you the faith to do. No matter how right it may seem and it may be right to do, but ask yourself this question has God given you the faith to do it? Now if God has given you the faith to do it, you would have done it. If the Lord gives you faith to walk on water, guess what, you will walk on water.

If there is, something you feel would be God will, pray for the faith to do it. In addition, until God gives you the faith do it, do not try it. When He gives you the faith to do it you will know it, then you will be able to succeed whatsoever it might be.
